A producer/packer or importer of packed products that has made a contract with the Environmental Register of Packaging PYR Ltd is entitled to use the PYR trademark under the terms presented below.
The trademark may be used on packaging, in correspondence and in marketing. Typical applications in addition to packaging include brochures, letterheads, invoice and order forms and cover sheets. The sign may not be used on products, in a firm’s name or as a logo for a firm’s activities. Markings or patterns that are similar to the PYR trademark may not be used, either.
PYR will send the packer a paper original of the trademark after the contract between the packer and PYR has been signed. The trademark is also available in electronic format.
The above mentioned rights pertaining to the PYR trademark cannot be passed on to a third party.
The trademark is protected by law. The holder is the Environmental Register of Packaging PYR Ltd.
The right of a packer or importer of packed products to use the PYR trademark expires at the moment the contract between the packer and PYR expires.
The trademark may be used 1) in green, 2) in black, 3) four-coloured, 4) negative on dark backgrounds.
The centre of the trademark is white, but when printed on coloured materials, the centre will assume the colour of the material.
