A packer or importer of packed goods who has signed a contract with the Environmental Register of Packaging PYR Ltd is entitled to use the PYR trademark in accordance with the conditions presented below.
The trademark can be used on packaging, on a website, printed material and in marketing. Typical items on which it can be used, apart from packaging, comprise brochures, letterheads, invoice forms, order forms and covering letter forms.
The trademark cannot be used on products, in the firm’s name or as a trademark for the firm’s activities. The firm is also not permitted to use words, signs or images in their operations, which are similar to the PYR trademark.
PYR will send the packer an original of the trademark on paper after the contract between the packer and PYR has been signed. The trademark is also available in electronic format at www.pyr.fi.
The trademark is protected. It is owned by the Environmental Register of Packaging PYR Ltd.
The above mentioned rights to use the PYR trademark cannot be transferred to a third party.
The right to use the PYR trademark is terminated if the contract between PYR Ltd and the packer or importer of packed products is cancelled.
The trademark can be 1) green 2) black 3) four-coloured: The centre of the trademark is white, but on coloured surfaces the centre can keep the colour of the surface.

CMYK c100 y65 k35 or PMS 336
Black

Four-colour
CMYK
Blue c90 m10, brown c40 m30 y60, orange c20 m60 y75 k5, violet c75 m55, green c100 y65 k35
If the above-mentioned colours are not suitable for your firm’s intended use, the trademark may be used in one colour also in other colours.
PYR retains the right to change these rules if required.
